Pumpkin Buckwheat Pakoras : Navratri Special.
As we all are celebrating the auspicious Navaratri festival and keeping our fasts so it is very important to include in our diet nutritious and healthy food. So Pumpkin is the best option for healthy food as it is loaded with many nutrients and is incredibly very healthy.There are many ways in which you can include pumpkin in your diet during fasts, but today we are sharing the very healthy yet delicious recipe of pumpkin i.e. pumpkin pakoras with kuttu ka atta.
Ingredients:
1 cup buckwheat flour(kuttu ka atta) | 1/2 cup boiled potatoes |
1 Cup grated pumpkin | 1 tsp sendha namak |
1/2 tsp kali mirch | 1/2 Cup cilnatro |
2 Finely chopped green chilies | 1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger |
Peanut oil or ghee for deep frying |
Method:
- In a deep bowl take grated pumpkin and add some sendha namak ,keep it aside for 5 mins.
- Now with both hands squeeze the extra water from the pumpkin
- Now add boiled potatoes,flour,kali mirch ,green chillies,ginger,cilnatro and adjust some salt as we have added salt earlier also.
- Add some water and mix well.
- Heat oil in kadhai and start deep frying the pakoras.
- Take the pumpkin pakoras out in kitchen towel and serve hot with vrat ki chutney.
